We totally understand how tough it can be to part with your beloved books, and we're here to help you find them a wonderful new home! Below, you'll find our guidelines to help make the process easier.

Bring us your books

We can accept up to 1 box of books (up to 30 books) per day per person. We're happy to accept gently used books, but there are some book conditions we can't accept:

• Water stains
• Mold
• Mildew
• Hardcover books missing their dust jackets
• Textbooks
• Encyclopedias 
• Reader's Digest Condensed Book
• Library books
• Harlequin/Silhouette Romance series
• Non-Fiction science titles more than 5 years old 

We will not take audiobooks or magazines. Also, books that are heavily annotated, missing pages, have broken spines, or are generally damaged will not be accepted. If we have multiple copies of a title, we may not accept the trade. 

We will carefully and thoroughly review your trade (we want the books!), but the amount of store credit determined will be the final amount. We appreciate your understanding!

Let us review your trade

We will make every attempt to complete your trade that day. If we happen to have a lot of trades that day, we will reach out via email or phone with your trade amount. After we've made our selections, we'll return any books we can't take back to you. If you'd rather not keep the extras, we're more than happy to donate or repurpose them.

Apply your store credit 

You can use your trade credit for half the cost of your used book purchase and pay the remaining amount using cash or credit card. Just a little reminder: no matter how much trade credit you have, there will always be an amount due for each purchase.
